Amika Flanagan recently completed her Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Studio Art at American University located in Washington, D.C..  While in her last year she worked towards the completion of an installation piece (Form of Language/Language of Form) which was displayed in a gallery show of undergraduate senior works at the university.  She also received the Alma Thomas Award for Painting in her last semester.  Throughout her most recent pieces Amika explores the relationships that we share with the natural and organic world around us and our man made interactions with that world.
